Testimonials

I can't thank you enough for such a wonderful experience! I'm so enjoying finding ways to bring back to my corporate life many of the wonderful things I was fortunate enough to share with and learn from all of you. So grateful for the time to be together, to be focused on doing great work inside and out, and in such an amazing space of open curiosity and support.

- K. Curley

I didn’t expect the training to be so powerful for me, but I was moved by it deeply. The rich and thoughtful experiences at the training let the tools/methods/tips that we learned really sink in. It really drove home the idea that facilitation and leadership are both dependent on connecting with others on a human level, rather than with an agenda, product, or program. It was truly eye-opening and life-changing for me.

Peter Kobak, Project Manager,
Innovation Team - City of Peoria

I had a fantastic experience. The tools and processes of the training are just that, tools. The weekend was a powerful manifestation of what is possible when a group of people comes together, each answering their own sense of calling, each committed to their own self-mastery in service to a world where all can thrive. The positive co-creative energy of the learning environment kept building throughout the whole weekend. The facilitators demonstrated what it is to
practice, increasingly embodying the essence of the concepts, principles, and ways of being they were teaching. Through their authentic practice, they invited others to do the same.

“My experience felt alive, relevant, and meaningful. It also felt very unique to me, and I appreciated our diversity and everyone’s unique contributions, as well as the support and encouragement to bring my own unique contributions.”

“I anticipated that this training would help me find a graceful way to transition out of my current work setting. Instead, I found renewed reasons to stay at it and ways to engage others around me, with similar frustrations, to start working toward meaningful change.”

Anamaria Aristizabal

Anamaria listens, inspires, and empowers you to awaken more of your potential, show up, take action, and lead in a way that transforms and responds to what the world needs.

She is a Master Certified Coach (MCC), leadership trainer, coach trainer, facilitator, and culture transformation consultant. Anamaria is the founder of Re-Vision Academy, which offers learning journeys in purpose discovery and leadership, and is the author of “Life Re-Vision: A Journey to Rediscover your Core, Reinvent Yourself, and Renew your Future Vision,” available in Spanish and English. A biologist by training, her work is full of metaphors from nature to remind us of our place in the great web of life. She is a founding member of the Aldeafeliz Ecovillage, where she currently lives with her husband.

“The team coaching experience led by Anamaria and team created a safe, vulnerable, and reflective space to explore my role as both a leader and a teammate. The team coaching provided the compass for my team to begin mapping out the next stages of our work together; this deeper sense of alignment and trust will help us achieve more impact together – and have more fun doing it! The journey helped me add frameworks to my toolkit that I was able to practice in sessions and then apply to my role so I can be a more effective collaborator. I appreciated being challenged by Anamaria and team in a way that was direct and also caring – while sometimes I was pushed outside my comfort zone, it was in service of expanding my comfort zone, so I can now lean into more honest conversations with my teammates and feel grounded in doing this. I was able to reflect on my own leadership style, both strengths and my inner saboteurs, in a way where I now feel like I am leading more authentically. I truly appreciated this multi-month experience and believe Anamaria and team went above and beyond to help us thrive as individuals and as a collective.”Scott Earl, Global Talent Co-Director, Ashoka.

I found the training to be an excellent experience, both personally and professionally. The training was a wonderfully-blended experience of practical skills-building and deep personal growth. Through the workshop, I came to better understand my perspective and personal motivations, as well as build a deeper confidence in my skills and the value of my work. The visioning exercises we learned have already been useful in both conversations with colleagues, as well as within current work projects. I was also able to add more interactive and participatory elements to large community event, the Indianapolis Sustainability Summit, which allowed for it to be more fruitful for everyone involved – a direct benefit of the facilitation training!

We made the Summit more participatory by using some of the techniques learned during the training. The summit would have likely followed a more typical speaker/panel style for all sessions. Over 300 people attended the event, with approximately half participating specifically in the workshops that were participatory/cafe style activities. The workshops were also the launch of our public input period for the City’s first Sustainability and Resilience Action Plan, and helped set a positive and engaging tone as we continue to gather input over the next few months. The input from summit attendees will help critically shape our sustainability plan by ensuring it is based on community needs and priorities. Given how well it went we plan to continue to use participatory engagement in future events.
